TomTom XL lasted 9 months. As one number on the serial number had rubbed off and I didn't have my sales slip..... Tom Tom customer service disposed of me even though I had registered on line. DON'T BUY TOM TOM ANYTHING!!!
This is not Apple Computer you're dealing with here.

After trying the Garmin Nuvi 350 and the Magellan Maestro in which I returned both, the Magellan kept shutting off after a few seconds and the Garmin was just to difficult to use. I ordered the TomTom One XL for my son who moved away for college, we needed something easy to use but did the job. The TomTom has worked great and gets him where he needs to go so I don't have to worry so much. And the price was great.

Easy to use, quick to catch the GPS signals when turned on. I drive all over upstate NY (lots of country backroads as well as city streets) and I can't suggest this enough. I have tried several other brands and I like this one head and shoulders above the rest. Worth a try for anyone new to GPS.

When it came time to purchase a GPS unit for our son, my husband and I purchased another TomTom. This is our third one. It is easy to understand and operate. All family members give it a thumbs up!

Adobe-Macromedia: Separating Fact from Fiction

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.
