Refurbished good as new
Tom Tom makes a super easy to use very intuitive interface for their gps units. I borrowed the Tom Tom One from a friend for a road trip and instantly fell in love and knew I needed to pick one up. $88 for a refurbished unit that still has stickers on it and looks brand new was well worth the money. To top it off, not paying for any services after that makes it a no brainer.

Gets me where I want to go
I am amazed how great this works for the price (well, used to work, it now has trouble initially getting a signal).
The display is very understandable as are the directions. The interface is intuitive.
The main thing this won't do that I would like is to remember a route after you go to the trouble to get it to route the way you want. You can tell it to avoid specific parts of the default route, and it will do that - for that one trip. The next time you turn it on you have to tell it again.
Also - mine now takes up to 15 minutes to acquire a signal (its 6 months old). It's not like there are specific places it can't get a signal, it just takes a long time when first turned on. It makes no sense. I didn't put that into my rating, because it might be I just got a dud.

Works great!
This is our 2nd GPS and we like this better than our other one! Very easy to enter destinations & we love the fact that maps can be updated.

Good product; Great value
This is my first GPS and I found it very easy to use. The software that came with it to download the latest maps didn't work but I knew from the reviews that if I called during the first month that I could download the current maps for free. I thought it was broken at first because it doesn't get a signal inside my house but it works fine in the car. It can take a few minute to get a signal when you first turn it on.
I use it with daytime colors and I put it on the windshield in the line of sight. I particularly like the facts that it continually predicts when you are going to arrive at your destination and if you find your route blocked by a closed exit or you miss a turn, it quickly recalculates your route. My wife likes the fact that you can set it to alert you when you are going over the speed limit.
I had mixed results with sticking the suction cup mount to my window (which is admittedly not the cleanest). Sometimes it would fall off after an hour and sometimes it would stay on for a couple of days. I bought a new mount on ebay that has a lever to provide extra suction and that works well.
