Nice and light weight
It is very nice model and light weight. It's easy to view when I drove. But the new function was little hard to use.

Amazingly Accurate and low cost
For the mony there is no other value. All maps unlocked from the start without the $100 - $300 unlokc price AFTER you buy a $500.00 unit. Although not as "sleek looking" as others it is still compact enough to be out of the way and the display is big enough to see everything clearly. I traveled all of Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany, as well as some of Prague with absolutely no problems. The bluetooth function is also very helpfull, the photo option is ammuzing, the mp3 is cool but the sound needs lots of work. All in all i LOVE this product

Great produce, and super fast shipping
I had a problem with another company on getting the right GPS and it being delayed weeks because it wasn't in stock, even though the site stated it was in stock. I went thru Amazon and got a good price and the GPS was at my door very fast. It actually arrived a day earlier than the site said it would be here.

best gps yet
I first had a older tomtom one. When it was stolen from me last year(listen to the warnings about not leaving them visable in your car)I got a Garmin nuvi 750 because at the time(before IQ routing)Garmin was supposed to have the best North American routing.I was disapointed in the Garmin routing. It avoided interstates and major highways to much, especially on longer trips. So I got the new TomTom 930.TomTom IQ routing is the best routing yet.It is often even better than online maping programs. The traffic reciver is also good.If I were driving a big rig or large rv (I used to be a truck driver)I would be cautious of traffic reroutes(from the traffic reciever) because they will sometimes take you through the country to avoid traffic, great in a car but maybe a little scary in a real large vehical.TomToms extra routing options over Garmin units can also be handy.

Low quality device, bad maps, poor support
I made the big mistake to buy a TomTom 930 unit instead of a cheaper satnav device. naively thinking that I would get the latest and the most complete maps of USA, Canada and Europe, a high quality satnav device and good support from TomTom.
Apart from the fact that TomTom 930 has several major flaws that cannot be easily fixed, such as having an LCD screen that appears to be of very low quality (cheap) and that is not properly viewable in a car under certain normal natural lighting conditions, I have been also unpleasantly astonished to discover that actually TomTom 930 does not come with the most complete map of Europe as advertised, and even the TomTom "Latest Map Guarantee" update does not install the most complete map of Europe.
The TomTom 930 product description clearly states that: "TomTom GO 930 comes with the latest and most complete maps of Europe, US and Canada pre-installed on 4GB internal memory".
So I have bought the device and I have used the TomTom "Latest Map Guarantee" in order to update the maps. After the update which required the download of several gigabytes of data, the TomTom software reports that the version of the map of Europe on my device is not the most complete and it invites me to buy a more complete map of Europe for 189.95 US dollars or 99.95 British pounds from TomTom.
I have contacted TomTom support, I have explained the situation to them and I have asked them to make "the latest and most complete maps of Europe, US and Canada", as advertised in the TomTom 930 product description, available for installation on my TomTom 930 unit.
TomTom support are utterly wasting my time and insist that the map of Europe on my TomTom 930 is the most complete map of Europe for my device, despite the fact that the TomTom software clearly reports that the map is not the most complete map of Europe.
I expected that I would get better support from TomTom, considering the money that I had spent on buying the more expensive TomTom 930 instead of a cheaper satnav device.
I also expected competent technical support from TomTom in solving this problem, which would simply require making the correct version of the maps available for installation on my TomTom 930 unit. I think that this problem should be very easy to solve compared to hardware or software defects.
The TomTom support call is wasting too much of my time, which is completely unacceptable.
