Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Doesn't plug in properly
The prongs flip out to plug this device into the wall, and as a result, it never charges properly. I always have to fiddle around with it to get the charging light to come on, and then sometimes it goes off part way through charging. This means that many times when I go to use my camera, I find that the batteries are not charged AT ALL, even though I left them plugged in overnight.
Completely unreliable.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Oui for the Wii. Wheeee!
We bought this for the ultimate battery-eater: the Wii. These batteries last far longer than alkaline and are a definite money saver.

The charger takes about four hours to charge a set of four. The flip door comes off easily and I left it off to dissipate the heat (which I think will extend the battery life).

The long charge is a pain, but they batteries last longer than any quick-charge battery I have ever owned.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great buy
I've been using this charger for about 2 years, no issues. I've been using the batteries that came along with this charger, both working great. I reset everytime before charging, and ready to use after charge. I recommend this product whoever needs 'charge' in everyday life.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love them!
Use them in my camera flash (fl-36). work hard and strong for a long time! I recommend this product.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Sony Quick Battery Charger
Other than the lid coming off, and I left it off during charging as it generated a lot of heat, it's pretty good! I've only charged 8 batteries but so far, so good!

LONDON (Reuters) - Madonna kicks off her "Sticky & Sweet" world tour at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Saturday, the latest test of her enduring appeal just a week after her 50th birthday.

Ted Shelton: "Frankly I felt that BlogOn was a waste of time and money."

I think the BlogOn conference was overproduced. In the name of professionalism the organizing firm turned off potential speakers, oversubscribed sponsors, etc.

I would have liked a debatable topic (aside from *blogging = journalism*. Two people slugging it out. Or a devil's advocate taking challenges from the floor.

I would have liked more hard numbers. Facts. Charts. Diagrams. We have the analytic tools to BS-check them; harder on vague opinions and single-points-of-observation.

I found it disturbing how much money was being commanded (from both attendees and sponsors) for a conference at a university. Maybe it was because it was at Berkeley? Maybe we should have taken over a community college or a Cal State or a DeVry. The facilities costs would have been cheaper at least. I heard an organizer apologize and say the next one would be at a hotel, like that would have been better.

Cost wasn't the whole problem. We're at a stage where early adopters are meeting folks who want to leap the chasm. Huge gaps in knowledge, experience, context, culture, vocabulary. It's the gap.

There are huge ideas to be explored, even in the world of applying blogs to media strategy and the enterprise. And most of the big ideas weren't even on the agenda at BlogOn. Probably because it was catering to those who want to commercialize, fund, and otherwise exploit (excuse me, "get in on") the emerging medium.

Let's fork these conferences so advanced topics on business and technology and culture fit the participants.

Nick Bradbury just had a tumor removed from his head. Glad to hear he's doing well:

The fact that I'm able to type this blog entry less than a week after the operation has me hopeful that recovery will be quicker than I was led to believe, but it will still be a few weeks before I'm able to really tackle any serious work.
