Sturdy and Adjustable TV Mount
I wanted a wall mount bracket with adjustable tilt for use with a Sony 52" LCD TV weighing about 72 pounds. I checked several models on the Peerless web site and confirmed that this model is compatible with the Sony TV model. In addition, I read all the technical details on the Peerless web site to convince myself this mount would work in my application. The price direct from Peerless was much higher than the Amazon price. I ordered from Amazon and received the unit in a few days. I was pleased to find out that the mount is indeed very "beefy" and rigid and would easily support the Sony TV. The frame mounted to the wall with no problems, but none of the bolts in the assortment supplied by Peerless was a perfect match to the TV. Of the two bolt types with the correct diameter and thread, one set was too short and the other was too long. I solved the problem easily by using the longer bolts with several flat washers (from Home Depot) under the heads so the bolts wouldn't bottom out in the threaded holes in the back of the TV. The TV is now mounted solidly to the wall and the tilt angle is easily adjusted.

awesome; note new dimensions
the newer model has an open plate design and is 34" long, rather than 31" as in product description. also the mount is black unlike shown in the picture. i had ordered this for my 58" samsung plasma pn58a550 and later was told by peerless that its not compatible, but it is perfect. i initially wondered why a heavier 58" panny would be okay but not samsung and the installation dude said he would try it first, if it doesnt fit he would use his mount, but it was good. 3 studs were located perfectly where i needed them. the tv was wall mounted this morning and looks sturdy.......no complaints!

HOME OWNER/DIY
Very easy to mount,and very sturdy. My TV is a samsung lcd 52". It took probably 30-45 mins to put up, the only reason it took that long, was trying figure out exactly where I wanted the TV on the wall and making sure it was level. It came with plenty of hardware, but you should buy a stud finder and a level,very important. Also I used a power drill to drive in the lag bolts into the wall, it would be a sob to do it with a screwdriver. I hope this review is helpful

Great mount
Worked perfectly on my Samsung 52"...had all the parts i needed.....set it up and mounted it in no time at all!! It did have great adjustments on the back too just in case your mounting isn't level...mine was off about an 1/8 of an inch, which was easily corrected on the back of the mounting unit!
Great product at a great price.....i couldn't be happier with all the audio/video equipment that i've purchased through amazon!!

Updated model-Easier to route cables
I will recommend this model to anyone hanging a large screen LCD. I hung a Samsung LN52A650 and it was easy to hang the TV. This updated model has a larger space between the adjustable hanging brackets and makes routing the TV cords and cables an easy task. All different kinds of screws are included for mounting and the directions are well explained. Would recommend this mount to everyone.
