Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Hardcore and Stout!
Very happy with my purchase. i have mounted my 65" Panasonic plasma over my fireplace myself (with a few buddies) and cannot be happier. This unit is strong and easy to assemble and mount, granted you have a little bit of handy savvy. Don't pay $500.00 and up to have someone hang your plasma unless you need customized wire hiding. This mount is great. Buy it!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great wall mount, not the best directions
If you're going to spend thousands on a tv, don't skimp on the wall mount. I highly recommend this product. The directions that came with it are a little short on detail. I went to the Omnimount website and was able to download a better version. It comes with a huge variety of mounting screws for tvs. Unfortunately not for my tv though - the short ones were too short and long ones too long. I had to run to Home Depot and pick up a few which wasn't a big deal at all. The lag screws to bolt the mount to studs may be a bit overkill but better to be safe than sorry. It is IMPERATIVE that you drill into the center of the studs. I have moderate DIY skills and was able to put this up in less than an hour. Oh, and keep in mind that this will allow your tv to tilt up and down, not left and right. I mistakenly thought it was the latter but that's my fault for not reading. The tilt mount is still a good deal even if you don't need or want to tilt your set.

Thie mount is easy to install and Amazon's price was much lower than most retail stores. It was shipped quickly and it arrived in good shape.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - omnimount plasma wall mount
this is my first wall mount purchase. was very impressed with the quality of construction, this is very heavy duty! My wife likes the appearance of the plasma screen on the wall. Any do-it-yourselfer shouldn't have much trouble with mounting. Just remember- measure twice drill/cut once! It definantly take 2 people to safely lift screen (my screen 50" Samsung) on to mounts. Overall very pleased with mount as well as quick delivery after my order!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Wall mount
This wall mount was very easy to install when using the template included.I looked at wall mounts that cost less but they were not as well built. The steel used in the OmniMount is very sturdy and looks good. The bolts they provide to anchor the mount to the wall are a little over kill. They are 3/8 x3 1/2 long considering that drywall for wall use is 1/2" thick and a 2x4 wall stud is apox.3 1/4" wide I felt that the bolts were a little too long.So I purchased 2 1/2' bolts at the home center and they worked very well.I like the way you can slide the TV on the rails to the side for better viewing adjustment. And the tilt also offers a varing adjusment to suit your viewing angle. My plasma loks great on the wall and doesn't take up any floor space. I would recommend this mount to any one considering mounting a Plasma or LCD on a wall.

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.

Massachusetts expands trial of train-Fi: The state's train authority will spend $1.4m to expand a trial program for Wi-Fi on certain state commuter lines to all 258 coaches. The program's formal launch is Wednesday. The annual cost is estimated at $300,000, but the authority didn't try to estimate savings or other expenses involved in shifting people from cars to trains as a result of the service.

Skyhook says 300 iPhone apps access location: Location guru Brady Forrest breaks down the data about how many iPhone applications are aware of their surroundings. No numbers here about the number of queries per day Skyhook is handling from iPhones, which we would all love to know, but is certainly proprietary to their deal with Apple. Forrest doesn't mention another interesting sidenote: Skyhook corrects their database of Wi-Fi locations with every query sent by an iPhone, which as a highly mobile device, must have a dramatic effect on extending and enhancing their routine truck-based scanning.
