Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - not too bad for the price
I bought this product when the last one I had failed. It wasn't the same model or anything so don't worry about that. This one so far has served me way better than the last contraption i used. it is long enough for me to actually hold it and see it while I'm in the car. The only complaint I have is that there is some static that seems to creep its way into every channel I turned it to. But for the convience factor alone I love it. for the price it WELL worth it.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Works somewhat, but I cannot recommend
I figured an FM transmitter like this located inside the vehicle would be able to transmit a strong signal to the antenna. Antenna is located in the back window of my 02 Accord. Perhaps there are products that can do the job well. Perhaps it's the fact I'm trying to play music from my cell phone (Motorola V3m) although the device sounds really quite good using earbud headphones... Perhaps its because radio stations in my area have some stong transmitters at the low end of the FM spectrum. Maybe my stock AM/FM/CD player in the Honda is a poor receiver. I don't find this product working that well for me. Price was reasonable. Easy to use. Operability in my application is poor.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Works okay
This is functional. Not the best sound quality. There are quite a few stations to choose from, but they are all in the 88-90 range. We live in a medium-sized city, but do have to change the station occasionally when driving around. It's definitely a good deal for the money. It think the tape adapters probably give a little better sound quality, but our car does not have a tape player. I could see how the more expensive transmitter's that allow you to choose the radio station you want might work better (less static). This is fine for the money though. We've found you get a little less static if you turn up the MP3 volume as much as possible and turn down the car stereo volume.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Works for a good price
I've had this item for about a week now. The product is very easy to use. Opened up the package, plugged it in, set to the right stations, and pressed play on my mp3 player. The reception is pretty good with minimal static. I also live south of Boston. When going under tunnels that's probably the most static I get in my area. My biggest complaint about this product is the low volume level it produces. It is about half the volume you would get from a regular station, so I have to turn my car volume setting fairly high to hear the song lyrics clearly. I've also noticed that the vocals in all the songs sound a bit lower than usual compared to the instruments. It could just be for me, but I get the same problem with an ipod shuffle and a sony mp3 walkman. So overall I think the price is decent for a Monster brand product, and it does what it's supposed to. I would've given 5 stars if not for the volume problem I'm experiencing.

Pros: Ease of use, illuminated frequency switch
Cons: Low volume output, possible decrease in song quality, have to remember to shut off your mp3 player to prevent battery loss.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Wishing it was better..
I get a lot of static with this connected to my Zune in the car.
It was pretty cheap though, and it does work, just not as good as I would have hoped. I really need a new stereo that has an audio-in plug; this works through the radio, but does not sound nearly as good as a tuned in radio station. I got the Zune cranked up to 20, and my stereo louder than usual to get to my average volume. It sounds pretty lousy.

If your really gripping to get tunes going in your car or boat, go for it. If your looking for high quality, keep looking. This is mediocre at best.

At 1.37 inches, this robot may not be as complex as the bipedal 6.3-inch Tomy iSobot—the former-smallest bipedal bot according to the Guinness book of world records—but it can do plenty of things, from walking to finding its way out of a labyrinth to play soccer. It will arrive to europe later this year and hopefully to the US soon, because I want a full army of them, like the girl in the product shot from the Robo Japan expo. [Toylogy]
