Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Works Great
The HDMI cable works great, although I'm not exactly sure I can see the difference while using it. My husband says he can though. If your TV is any distance away from your satelite box and/or cable box you better get a longer HDMI. Six feet isn't very long.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Blatant Rip-OFF!
How is this company still in business? These cables are overpriced by 20000%! With digital signals, it's all or nothing. You cannot get lower quality video/audio if the cable isn't good enough like you do with analog signals. With digital signals, if the quality isn't good you just won't get a signal. Do not buy this product. Any $10 certified cable will work.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Plus their customer service is horrible
I wanted to find out whether this cable supports HDMI 1.3 - a very simple question, just yes or no. I called 4 times just to find that everybody in customer service is in training and nobody can answer my question. Great way to run a company! I am returning my $130 cable.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Great cable, but same quality as monoprice $5 cable
I couldn't believe the reviews so I had to see it for myself. The result: the Monster cable is pure hype.

I have a Philips 42" 1080P TV hooked up to a blu-ray dvd player. I bought this Monster cable and a $5 10' HDMI 1.3a cable from monoprice.com. I played x-men last stand and superman returns on blu-ray, as well as the matrix on a regular DVD.

For about an hour I switched between the two cables. I couldn't tell the difference between the resolution, noise, color, contrast or black levels. Over a 10' distance, there's simply no difference between this $100 cable and a $5 cable. I even tried to push the limits of the cable but having it carry both the surround sound signal and the video to my receiver...nothing.

Please, please, please...spend the extra $100 on a better TV, perhaps 120hz over 60hz. This cable will not make miracles happen, as Monster will promise you over and over. Future proofing? You're kidding yourself. Good cable construction? Everyone else has good cables as well. Gold plated, nitrogen-injected dielectric with 5 layers of shielding? Great, hope you have a fun time watching your spectrum analyzer in a lab. This all means nothing for good ol 1080P blu-ray movies!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Rip Off
Im not gonna lie and say i did a side by side test because i havent. I read on [...] about HDMI and how the cables are the same. They use the cheap [...]cables sold here on amazon and monster is ripping people off. Be smart and save money.

Seagate has decided to enter the solid-state disk (SSD) market in 2009, starting the company's switch from hard disk drives (HDD). Their first target: corporate America. Once they've got the cubicle commanders, they'll move to consumers. Seagate senior manager Rich Vignes seems to be awfully defensive about this incredibly obvious move, stating over and over that they'll take it slow, that analysts really do think SSDs are reliable, and that this is the wave of the future. Of course, if you're reading Giz, chances are your response to the announcement is "Duh." But Seagate stepping into the SSD ring means we're one step closer to an HDD-free existence. [CNet]
