Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good Buy! A must for those who drive alot.
This product is worth the extra money! The sound is really good and anyone can operate! I am very satisfied with quality and design.

I plugged it into my car and had it running in seconds. Sound quality was like I was playing a CD! My wife loves it and she isn't a tech geek like me! :-)

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Doesn't work right with the newest generation of iPods including Classic.
I just received my order and was excited to use my new FM transmitter. (My old one broke. It was not this brand.) I have an iPod Classic that I got for Christmas. Unfortunately, it doesn't work right. The auto scan just scans up to about the 96 frequency - not the whole gamut. Then it chooses a station, but loses the signal about every minute or two blaring loud static. It has also crashed my iPod a few times to where I just had the apple logo on the screen.
I looked into returning it, but the seller, 6Ave, states that they will not issue a refund at all if the product has been opened. They will exchange for the same item, but that doesn't help me because it's not a defect problem - which I found out later. I decided to call Monster. They said that this product doesn't work with the newer iPods because of the new technology that Apple has put into the iPods. This is not the first time I've heard this. My iPod isn't compatible with so many products out there, including my DVD player that has a dock and is supposed to play iPod videos - but doesn't. The guy at Monster said that a new version of this item - the 250 - will be out in June '08 sometime, and it will work with the newer iPods.
So, I can't really rate the actual product, since it's not compatible with my iPod. The quality seems to be very nice and when the sound did come through, it was decent for an FM transmitter. I will say that I don't think it's fair that the description doesn't state what iPods this unit is compatible with (neither does the packaging!) and then the seller won't issue refunds - hence the lower rating. This has happened a couple of times when dealing with sellers that are not Amazon. I have decided to only buy things when Amazon is the actual seller, because at least their return policy is fair.
Thanks for reading my review!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not too shaby!
ok, so I had been using an old FM transmitter, that runs off a double-A battery. It had an antenna, and a dial for tuning. It was pretty rough; static, low battery! So, as you can imagine, I'm pretty satisfied with this product-given that it's powered by your car-and charges your ipod. The auto tuning feature is pretty handy-although, when I was traveling into a remote town it couldn't hold the signal for more than 5min and I had to keep using the auto-scan. But, I'm mostly in/near the city, and the signal strength is great. One other thing to note, is that if you already have a station set from the last time you used the transmitter, and you leave it for the next use-you'll need to press the 's' button in order to get the screen light on the ipod to turn back on(I hope that makes sense). All in all-I'm satisfied.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome!
I love the Monster iCar! Worth every penny. It's easy to use and convenient. I live in the Santa Rosa area in California and I can use the same station all over town and almost out to Valejo. I haven't had any static at all. Great product!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Very Good Item
This item is really to advert to everybody who want a good sound in car.
Ihave already try another brands but this is the only one that give me back a good sound.

I'm not sure why this article was written, as there appears to be nothing particularly newsworthy in it: The News.com reporter Marguerite Reardon has covered muni-Fi for as long as I have, and after reading this in-depth piece, I'm left wondering whether it was assigned far too early, and she was meeting an editorial desk requirement instead of feeling like the story was ready to "print." The article looks at Network Acquisition Corp. (NAC), the allegedly interim name for the group that's taken over Phila-Fi.

One source at the Knight Center for Digital Excellence notes, "The new network owners are supposed to have a much more sustainable business model." Supposed to. Later, "Network Acquisition Company, which acquired the network, hasn't talked publicly about the details of its new plan, but it has hinted that its strategy will differ from EarthLink's." Hasn't talked publicly. Then, "[NAC and Tropos] spokespeople said the companies would talk more about the network later this month when details of the new business plan are ready." Huh.

Reardon explains digital divide issues and looks into what Wireless Philadelphia has been up to, although doesn't note that delays in EarthLink's deployment and other factors have led to just a few hundred individuals that have been assisted by the non-profit; numbers may have changed, but that was as of a few months ago. Still, Wireless Philadelphia has apparently diversified its funding sources--Reardon cites 30 now.

I think we're still coming off the doldrums of August.
