Editorial Review:

Product DescriptionBe prepared for the hottest days! This full-featured forecaster tells you more than just the temperature – it tells you how hot it feels outside. It derives this heat index rating from a combination of outdoor temperature and humidity measurements. You'll know whether it's merely warm – or downright sweltering. It also forecasts impending weather 12 to 20 hours in advance so you can make your plans accordingly.

Features:
  • Heat index
  • Outdoor temperature and humidity
  • Indoor comfort icon
  • Indoor temperature and humidity
  • Radio-controlled time
  • 12 animated moon phases with twinkling stars
  • Forecasts weather 12-20 hours in advance
  • Air pressure tendency indicator
  • Outdoor dew point
  • Bright LED backlight
  • 433 MHz outdoor transmitter
  • Wall hanging or free standing
The remote wireless sensor transmits its signal up to 330 feet away to your display panel indoors. A bright LED backlight helps you see the display in total darkness. And, the integrated digital clock syncs with the U.S. atomic clock for perfectly accurate time and date. A smart choice for anyone who likes to anticipate – and beat – the heat. Indoor temperature range: 32° F to 140° F (0° C to 60° C). Outdoor temperature range: -22° F to 158° F (-30° C to 70° C).

Features:
  • Heat index and dew point display
  • Monitors indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity
  • Atomic clock and date display
  • Weather forecast icon which forecasts weather for 12-20 hours in advance
  • Moon phase display

Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice System
Works as advertised for me. Even its weather prediction is fairly accurate in my area. The humidity levels are handy to know. My only disappointment is that it does not have a readout of the barometric pressure (nothing ever said that it did). You also have to wonder a bit about a temperature display that reads to the nearest tenth of a degree when the accuracy is only guaranteed to within two degrees.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This thing is awesome
I did a lot of reseach on many different models, from simiple to very complicated, and I picked this one for a few reasons. At first I really wanted something with wind speed, but after looking into them, I decided it wasn't worth the mounting effort. I mostly wanted indoor/outdoor temp and humidity all displayed at once, along with the atomic clock and backlit screen. This thing has 'em all, great price and works great. I actaull take it between the bedroom and family room all the time. Going to have to buy another one! Highly recommended.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Works well
This weather station works very well. We don't have any problem with interference (which was a problem with a different brand we tried). My husband especially likes the weather prediction capability.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Must be within 3 feet to read...
Overall the unit works as advertised and mine sync'd up its atomic clock on its first night in the Washington DC area. The outdoor unit is easy to install almost anywhere outside. The heat index and dew point feature is nice. The unit seems a reasonable value for under $50. The one somewhat significant complaint I have is that I can't read the unit on my wall unless I'm within 3 feet. There is simply not enough contrast between the numbers and the background which is far darker than the pictures shown here. If this issue was corrected, I'd give the unit 5 stars.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Weather Station
I really enjoy this wireless thermometer. It works as advertised. You need to give it a day or so to adjust itself to your area. When I first got it the Atomic Clock signal would be received like every other day, but after several days I noticed it receiving everyday now. The forecast portion is adjustable as far as pressure sensitivity in the area of the country you are. Very happy with the quality and the size. The display is easy to read from across the room. I would recommend to a friend.

Warning about Amazon....I was shopping for another product on Amazon recently. I put the item in my cart and started the checkout process. Part way through I changed my mind. Even though I never completed the process or clicked on a submit button....the next morning I got a email letting me know my item had shipped! They had my credit card info from this purchase and charged my card. I was leaning toward the item anyway and decided to keep it but felt like warning others.
