If in doubt - buy it!!!!
I have never thought photos printed on any type of home printers were very good. This little printer has changed my mind. It is awesome! It prints the best pictures I've ever seen, including stores. If I need a lot of pictures printed in 4 X 6 size, I would still use the services of a store that will print them for 12cents or so each. But this is great if you want smaller photos (you can put several small photos on one 4X6 paper) or if you need a copy of a photo quick. I love to tuck a small photo in a card -- now I can. I do scrapbooking, so this is just perfect. I don't always want all pictures 4 X 6.
A friend of mine is in the Peace Core in a remote part of Benin in Africa. She uploaded a photo of herself and her hosting family to her blog. I was able to print it out on this little PIctureMate. It was perfect! To think I had a photo copy in my hand of a picture that was taken 2 hours earlier in Africa.

Very Nice
A very nice handy gadget to have. This is great to take with you when visiting family.
You can take the picture, print, and grandma's everywhere are thrilled!
Does not have as many options as the picturemate snap but for the money its good enough.
The pictures are excellent with more detail than those you would get processed at your local drugstore.
A great product.
I highly reccommend.

Exceptional performance, easy to use.
I was looking for a product that would be simple to use, yet produce quality pictures. This printer is it. Since I purchased it I have printed many photos for myself and family members. Each is identical to a professional photo. I have 3 young children and not a lot of time for technical details. I am delighted with this purchase and I have some projects lined up for I return to work. Consumers Reports rated this printer #1 and I agree. Very nice product Epson. Keep up the good work.

Good Quality Prints - Expensive Supplies
I've had the PM 260 for about 8 months. The good: Excellent quality photos. As good or better than most in-store photo processing. The bad: Ink and paper ONLY packaged together for about $42. I've now accumulated about 300 extra pages of photo paper and the ink cartridge has never lived up to the 150 print count stated on the box. The really bad part. Once it's been installed in the machine the ink cartridge has 0 shelf life. If you don't use it for a month you will most likely have to replace the cartridge or burn through most of it cleaning the print heads.
Note to EPSON... Please unbundle the ink cartridges and paper! Great product, but the supplies are a scam.

I love the layout options
I recently purchased the Epson Picture Mate (Dash 260). I do a lot of scrapbooking and am thrilled at the variety of sizes of prints available. The Jumbo wallet is terrific, especially if I want to group a series of pics on one page. They are small enough to fit several on a page, but large enough to see lots of detail. The color and quality that the Picture Mate produces are excellent. Each time I use it, I discover more options that I like, but hadn't known were available. One of the best attributes is the fact that if you want several prints on one 4X6 sheet, they don't have to be duplicates of the same picture. So each 3X4 picture cost only half of the price of a 4X6 print, etc.. It is very portable, (I recommend purchasing the caseEpson - Carrying case)so I have it with me when I travel to Scrapbooking functions.Epson PictureMate Personal Photo Printer
