Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great sound for the $$$!!!
I bought these because the onboard sound with my laptop was *&%$#. They deliver a crisp clear sound, I also use them with my 10.5 Philips DVD player and they sound great. I have had this set for over 2 years and NO issues!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good PC speakers for the money
I hooked these up to my PC and it plays great, it's moderately proportion between the Bass and Terrible, but missing midrange... good set of speakers for the money.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Really nice 2.1 speaker set
I've owned this speaker set for 2 years of extensive use and it finally gave up on me. It out performed my old Yamaha 2.0 and Altec Lansing 2.1 sets, while priced at fractions of their prices.

Pro:
Great sound, crisp high, mid & low are present, enough to rock your gaming and personal movie-in-a-pc sessions. Slick design with cool blue light accents on both satellite speakers. Full control with power on/off, volume & bass gain. Very affordable.

Con:
Vulnerable to cell phone signal interference. Could use deeper bass.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - wow!!!
my freind has a pair of a cheaper set of cyber acoustic speakers which he thinks are ok but the make poping and buzzing sounds constantly. when i bought these i expected crapy spakers but i was wrong i have a set of very expensive boston 2.1 speakers now discontinued but i use these together whith my boston's for sourund sound but i use these more oftan.

I recomend buying these as soon as you can!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Really good sound on games and movies!
I originally bought for my MP3 player, but started using it for my notebook. Really crisp sound, sounds wonderful on dramatic games and movies, but not on heavy bass. The sub is very "thump sensitive" meaning it WILL thump of of any thing. It pumps out lots of air. P.S. dont listin to those people that are saying nothin but bad stuff, personally I think they are from other companies trying to prevent people from buying the product! So thats what i have to say.

Blogs | Appliweb Project

Welcome to my new project : Appliweb !

With Appliweb, I'll try to create a successfull opensource project, for a subject that I find most important: web development.

By successfull opensource project, I mean:

  - A Project with lots of (other) people involved

  - A Project  that will help people.

  - A Project I will eventually earn money with.

For this,

  - I've rent  a shared-server to an ISP: planetwork. A friend of mine (here) recommended them to me.

  - I setup a Joomla project, with blogs and comments and forums

  - I wrote some articles explaining my ideas and how to create them

It's the  first project that I didn't start by writing the code ! Others have failed, even if many people still looks into them....

Now the website is ready, I will begin to write some code (in javascript ! eechhhh).

I'm waiting to have something to show before I write about it in my favorite websites !

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?

A new SDN article delves into the related commands.

The country's highest court says charging the obese for an extra seat is discriminatory. Although the ruling applies only to domestic flights, it could pave the way toward similar policies in other countries that have been grappling with the issue.
