- great for charging, won't sync
This is a great replacement for the original usb cable and dongle if all you want to do is recharge your Creative Zen Vision:M. However, I have been unable get it to sync with any computer, and I've tried at least three.

- Charge is good but not so good with the syncing
This has a big or minor problem depending on your needs. It doesn't sync with your computer if you haven't synced with a dongle before hand. My computer wasn't able to see my player until I used the dongle but I was still able to charge using this cable.

So to be clear of what I mean is I can sync using this cable but only after using a dongle. If the dongle gets lost and I have to reinstall the software I won't be able able to sync using this cable. I might just have gotten a bad one because I don't see any other reviews that talks about this. Or maybe they didn't try this cable on fresh install of the software that was never used with the dongle.

It is still worth buying just to be able to charge via usb.

It's a cable nothing fancy. It just plain works. Beats paying around 5 bucks for a usb cable and another 20 for the adapter. Shipping, however, did take a little longer than expected considering i paid for expedited shipping and consequently i ended up going on the road with no music. That's the only reason i'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5.

No complaints so far. ive had this Vision M data cable for about a month now and it transfers files, and charges my player with no problems. i keep this cable in my office incase i need it, and keep the original at home. its ready to be used right out of the box! i would definitely recommend this product :)

You just have to buy this if you own a creative zen m. Don't waste money buying the extra dongle or to replace one you lost. You can buy this for cheaper and you can't really lose it again.
Some say this might break easier, but god...it's $3! The dongle is about $20ish...you can buy like 6 or 7 of these and it will surely outlast your zvm and you won't lose it. Even if you lose it, you'll still have plenty more if you actually bought 6 or 7 of them o.O

New Project : Appliweb

Welcome to my new project : Appliweb !

With Appliweb, I'll try to create a successfull opensource project, for a subject that I find most important: web development.

By successfull opensource project, I mean:

- A Project with lots of (other) people involved

- A Project that will help people.

- A Project I will eventually earn money with.

For this,

- I've rent a shared-server to an ISP: planetwork. A friend of mine (here) recommended them to me.

- I setup a Joomla project, with blogs and comments and forums

- I wrote some articles explaining my ideas and how to create them

It's the first project that I didn't start by writing the code ! Others have failed, even if many people still looks into them....

Now the website is ready, I will begin to write some code (in javascript ! eechhhh).

I'm waiting to have something to show before I write about it in my favorite websites !
