Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Telephone from AT&T
This is a good telephone for our desk. It has a great tone and is easy to use. For a reasonable priced phone, it works for me.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Keep Looking
It had all the features I wanted in a gift. The phone looked good when he opened it and he liked all the features it offered. I'm embarrassed to have given it as a gift now knowing the poor working quality of the phone. It sounds ok when using the handset, but the sound quality is awful when used as a speakerphone. The appeal of this product was the speakerphone feature and it does not work as needed. The voice of the person using the phone cuts in and out during the conversation or the person must yell and stand close to the phone in order to be heard. This is not acceptable. The speaker is located on the bottom of the unit. How can you possibly have a good quality speakerphone with the speaker located on the side that faces the surface on which it sits? Keep looking for a better speakerphone product. I know I will!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - phone
Product is as advertised. Purchased as our corded phone. Rest are all walk around phones not part of a comon system. Very light weight easily falls of desk. Also cord fron reciever to phone is too short also causing phone to be dragged around. Light blinks if you have made or recieved recent calls. Remains blinking untill you review call

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - AWESOME!!!
This phone is so cool. A great value for the money. The batteries have been in for two months now and they are still running strong. It has the cutest ring that can be turned off or up. Perfect for wall mount and the data port allows me to go online as well.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Reliable phone with the features I want
This phone has worked very well for me. I've had it for about two years. It displays the last 50 or so calls I've received and accommodates call waiting and call holding. I changed the batteries for the first time today after months and months of reliable use. So my experience has definitely been different from the other reviewer. Very good phone for the money.

This year has seen several young companies--including Orbius--offering to harness the power of social networking for business.

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.

Virgin America formally launches: Last week, Virgin America offered free Wi-Fi on its single Internet-equipped aircraft, My Other Ride's a Spaceship. Today, the service goes commercial ($10 for flights 3 hours or shorter; $13 for longer flights), and the rollout to other planes begins. Virgin has a special URL--http://wifitracker.virginamerica.com/--that takes you to a tracking page showing which flights in progress have Wi-Fi, but they don't yet tell you how to determine whether a given flight you'll be on will offer the service. With 24 planes and a plan to add service one per week, that shouldn't be a problem for long.

Heathrow Airport Coach Link adds Internet service: Icomera, a leading transportation Wi-Fi firm, has added free Wi-Fi to FirstGroup's RailAir coach service that connects Heathrow Airport with Reading in England. RailAir runs every 20 minutes for a 50-minute route. FirstGroup handles 3 million passengers a day across all its routes, which makes it a plum market for future expansion.

Awareness Technologies adds Wi-Fi positioning for laptop recovery: Awareness is the latest firm to partner with Skyhook Wireless to use Wi-Fi positioning to its products, in this case Laptop Cop, software designed to aid in recovery. The software starts at $50 for a 1-year license, with discounts for quantity.

Climate change is hampering the long-term recovery of rivers from the effects of acid rain, with wet weather offsetting improvements, according to a new study.
