Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Unable to track shipping
I ordered an Apple Care protection plan. It arrived shortly after it was due. However, I was unable to track where the shipment was while I was waiting using the USPS tracking system.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Don't leave home without it!
You MUST buy Apple Care if you get any apple product. It fully covers your iPod if anything happens in two years... and it really works. Also, it gives you as much tech help as you need during that two-year period... this is a no-brainer. I's so worth the small investment up-front to have help at any apple store to fix it or explain anything. Or you can call apple anytime for assistance. I had to replace two ipods because they died for no apparent reason (I think they were exposed to magnets) and Apple replaced them under Apple Care with no questions asked.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Undecided
I have not had anything go wrong with my iPod hardware or software wise, so i really do not know what to say. The one thing I will say is that I sold my 30gb iPod on eBay when I heard about the ipod touches and the sale included this warranty. Apple was very helpful in facilitating the Apple Care transfer. The guy who bought it recieved the new agreement with his name on it three days after I emailed Apple about the transfer.

I am only giving this four stars because I have not needed it for repair purposes.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Apple Care Plan
Great inclusive warranty. Must have for anyone that uses iPod for working out or during any activity where it might easily be broken.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Lost a year's service to Amazon typo
The detailed description for the plan says

- Extend repair and telephone support coverage of your iPod to three years

I thought Apple had become generous but once I received it with my iPOD, I found it's still just one additional year, not two. Apple confirmed that the three years is a typo. My last iPOD needed to be replaced twice so the extended service is a must even if it's just for one year.

Waiting patiently for the iPhone. The touch screen interests me but I have a huge music library and it only has a small amount of storage. Latest PC Laptops are too big to lug around if I want to quickly dash out for a meeting or a weekend trip. Apple eliminated the smaller of [...]
