Customer Reviews
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - More love than hate
I love
- the design
- the ease of use
- the weight
- to clip it everywhere
- the size
- the quality

I hate
- that there is no display
- the iTunes software restrictions
- that it is still expensive

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Size is good, but wish iit held more music.
I enjoy the size for ridding my bike, but I wish it held more music. I do really like the clip on the back, it's strong and hold on well.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - low end IPOD
Not bad for limited functionality but go with a nano or higher. I used this for awhile but it's annoying scrolling threw songs without a screen to see the titles, just basic basic functionality....I accidently wasted mine in a washing machine, the battary will still charge but the IPOD will no longer work obviously. It's built well with it's metal housing so it can take pretty much whatever you can throw at it, but again to basic for me.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Bought for my 6 year old Daughter (twin a). Excellent.
You cant go wrong with an iPod.....they are simple and they work. My twins both got one of these because they wanted to be like their older brother.

They are psyched!!!! Thats what I am told.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Perfect Tool for the Gym
The Shuffle is the perfect gym music source. I have a gym playlist that I load onto the Shuffle. The device clips onto my hat and eliminates arm or wrist bands like I was using for my larger I-Pod. Charges really fast and keep the charge through at least four 1.5 hour workouts. It's just right for me... Ted

This year has seen several young companies--including Orbius--offering to harness the power of social networking for business.

The proposed acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe is not a done deal. Both companies are under the scrutiny of the SEC, and it must also be approved by stockholders. While Macromedia/Adobe gives this process three to nine months, some industry analysts feel that is being overly optimistic. But assuming that all is goes as planned, Macromedia will cease to exist. Everything will be in the Adobe name and with the Adobe interface.

Virgin America formally launches: Last week, Virgin America offered free Wi-Fi on its single Internet-equipped aircraft, My Other Ride's a Spaceship. Today, the service goes commercial ($10 for flights 3 hours or shorter; $13 for longer flights), and the rollout to other planes begins. Virgin has a special URL--http://wifitracker.virginamerica.com/--that takes you to a tracking page showing which flights in progress have Wi-Fi, but they don't yet tell you how to determine whether a given flight you'll be on will offer the service. With 24 planes and a plan to add service one per week, that shouldn't be a problem for long.

Heathrow Airport Coach Link adds Internet service: Icomera, a leading transportation Wi-Fi firm, has added free Wi-Fi to FirstGroup's RailAir coach service that connects Heathrow Airport with Reading in England. RailAir runs every 20 minutes for a 50-minute route. FirstGroup handles 3 million passengers a day across all its routes, which makes it a plum market for future expansion.

Awareness Technologies adds Wi-Fi positioning for laptop recovery: Awareness is the latest firm to partner with Skyhook Wireless to use Wi-Fi positioning to its products, in this case Laptop Cop, software designed to aid in recovery. The software starts at $50 for a 1-year license, with discounts for quantity.

Climate change is hampering the long-term recovery of rivers from the effects of acid rain, with wet weather offsetting improvements, according to a new study.
